Aural Stage Studios is looking for scripts specifically fit for audio performance. We are a performance-based group seeking submissions that are heavily character based with audio performance in mind. All submission should have no more than five characters.
Dear Aural Stagers-
You appear to share my love of all things audio drama. And some of you may know that I was honored to both perform and produce for the last decade at the venerable Friends of Old Time Radio Convention, which ended its illustrious career last November at the ripe old age of 36.
Well, many of the long-time supporters of that venerable group told some of us that they hoped this tribute to our beloved medium would continue. So since then, I’ve been honored to be part of a Steering Committee building a sort of “sequel” organization – “Celebrating Audio Theater (Old & New).”
Our website has just gone live:

As a startup in many ways including financial, we need your support. If you’d be interesting in attending our Con, advance ticket sales will make this happen! (Contributions are welcome too, of course.)
And while we be continuing the well-deserved tribute to the days of Classic Network Radio, we are expanding the mission of the previous entity by welcoming new ideas and new people from the world of Contemporary Audio Drama. Our plan is to have performers from the worlds of OTR, MAD, Voice Over, and Audio Books.
We are still about the Past – but now about the Future, too.
If you hear the call of such a mission, as attendee or presenter – get in touch with us!
Best,
-Craig Wichman

Outstanding, Craig. Thanks for the heads up!
Is there a preferred length that you’re looking for, be it word length, page length, or run time?
Yes sir.. we prefer shorter pieces between 10 and 20 minutes in length.
Dear Matthew J. Boudreau,
As a would-be contributor to your awesome magazine, I would greatly appreciate it if you could announce the debut of my first novel Flight of the Cosmonaut. It was just published by The Fiction Works as an eBook.

I know it’s a lot to ask, but I would be incredibly honored if you or one of your colleagues would post a review of the novel.
Thanks for all the years of great stories.
Sincerely yours,
David Wright
I have 17 audio drama programs written under the NightMare Alley name. These are in the “Twilight Zone” or Hitchcock Presents style, all written for an approx 23min show.
I have a couple on CD, and have all saved in Word format. I had them all on Celtx, but I can no longer find them.
If interested, drop me a not and I’ll send a couple.
Randy,
We’d be delighted to take a look at anything you’d care to submit. Just use the submission form, so we’re able to track everything in queue.
